My stay at Quinta Azul in Santa Teresa was truly wonderful. The location is perfect, nestled in a quaint neighborhood yet close enough to the city center. The rooms are charming, clean, and comfortable, though a touch basic. The breakfast was delightful, surrounded by beautiful greenery, although I'd love to see more variety. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'd recommend it for those looking to explore the essence of Rio.

However, the location while filled with character, could feel a bit isolated at night for some travelers. The breakfast offered was nice, featuring ripened fruit and local bakery pastries, but I found it could be a bit more generous by Brazilian standards. It was still a pleasant way to start the day, enjoyed with a lovely view.

The facilities included a small but delightful swimming pool surrounded by tropical greenery. It was well-maintained, though I felt it was a bit on the small side.

I had a nice stay in this boutique hotel located in Santa Teresa, a charming area of Rio. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, which really enhanced my experience. However, the room felt a bit cramped for the price I paid, and the dining options could use some improvement. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you enjoy a calm environment away from busier tourist spots.
